STAKMA Heads to Chicago: PALLETMAX Live at the Woodpack Global Fall Plant Tours

STAKMA is bringing PALLETMAX across the Atlantic this fall. On September 22–23, 2026, our fully automated pallet nailing and robotic stacking system will be running live at the Woodpack Global Fall Plant Tours, with demonstrations hosted at Chicago Pallet and Harvey Pallet in Chicago, USA.

For visitors to the tour, this is a chance to see the full PALLETMAX process end to end — automated nailing, robotic pickup, and automatic stacking, working together as one continuous line. Rather than a static display, the machine will be shown doing exactly what it does on a production floor every day: turning raw components into finished, stacked pallets without manual handling at any step.

The Chicago demonstrations are being run together with our U.S. partner, Alliance Automation, who will be on site throughout both days to walk visitors through the system and answer questions about integration, throughput, and deployment in North American plants. Robotic handling on the line is powered by ABB, a partnership that has been core to PALLETMAX’s reliability since the system’s early development.

Woodpack Global’s Fall Plant Tours bring together pallet and wood-packaging professionals from across the industry for a close look at the equipment shaping the next generation of production lines. For STAKMA, it’s an opportunity to meet operators and plant managers directly, hear how their lines are evolving, and show what a fully automated PALLETMAX installation looks like in practice — not just in a brochure.

If you’re attending the tour, you’ll find PALLETMAX running at both Chicago Pallet and Harvey Pallet on September 22 and 23. If you’re not able to attend but want to know more about bringing PALLETMAX to your own operation, our team — together with Alliance Automation in the US — is happy to talk through what a deployment would look like for your plant.
